Meet the 2018 Ford Focus RSApr 10th, 2020
We all drive. Some more fanatically than others. Be ready to live life in the fast lane with the new 2018 Ford Focus RS.
Torque Vectoring Control
Torque Vectoring Control uses the braking system to balance the distribution of torque to the front wheels. In particular, when accelerating through corners, it applies braking to the front inside wheel, so more of the engine torque goes to the outside wheel, which has more grip.
Enjoy the sun, the moon or just some fresh air. One push of a button is all it takes to open the available power moonroof. Leave it in the vent position to let in a breeze, or open it wide to let in the fresh air and light.
The limited-edition 2018 Focus RS comes with modifications inspired by the enthusiast community. Unique to the 2018 model – black mirror caps and black spoiler with new RS decal, interior carbon fiber accents, RS wheel centre caps with standard forged wheels, and the now standard RECARO leather-trimmed heated seats, heated mirrors and steering wheel and voice-activated navigation. In response to popular demand, the RS is now available in Race Red.
Thanks to the aerodynamic design of the front grille and the rear diffuser and the unique spoiler, the Focus RS maximizes downforce while creating zero lift for optimum high-speed handling.
While the Ford Performance All-Wheel-Drive System responds automatically to driving conditions, you can manually choose the power distribution: “Normal” for everyday driving, “Sport” for spirited rides, “Track” for track use only and “Drift” also for track use only to achieve controlled oversteer drifts. And SYNC 3 offers enhanced voice-recognition functions for your phone, music, comfort and available navigation.
